Choice of Frames

Easyscreen™ (131mm) or Slimline™ (52mm) Surround Frames are available. They are made from 6060-TS extruded aluminium. A wide range of powdercoat colours with matching clips and handles are available.

Automated or Manual Options

With the optional Altair Powerlouvre™ Window System, Altair louvres can be automated via a motor concealed within the Easyscreen™ Surround Frame.

Integrated System

Altair Louvres clip neatly and flush against the frame, with no visible gallery screws. Security Bars can be integrated as an optional extra.

Integrated Screen Housing

The Breezway Easyscreen™ Surround Frame includes an integrated insect and security screen housing that allows easy fitting of screens to the frame. Insect screens can be installed from within the building and are positioned so they will not interfere with the operation of the louvre blades.

Keylock

The Keylock comes standard on all Surround Frames at no additional charge. Please specify whether you want the keylock or not. Keylocks are not available in louvre windows with handle locking bars, ring pull handles, remote control handles or Pwerlouvre™ Windows.

Supply of Extras

Reveals and membrane are availableas an option. Breezway is able to supply smooth polished and high performance toughened glass blades from their Toughening Plant which is custom designed for louvre blades.

High Performance

Breezway Australia Surround Frames are a purpose designed Louvre Window System. All frames are produced to AS2047-1999. See their Product Performance Warranty for ratings information.

Automated Windows

Automated windows allow integration of passive ventilation into austomated climate control systems and also affer an easy way to operate windows that are high up and out of reach.

No More External Motors and Controls

Breezway Altair louvres can be traditionally automated via external motors and controls attached to the remote control compatible handles. This approach to automation requires a third party to supply and install the external motors and linking systems.

Breezway now provides a simple solution to automated needs, removing the need to specify multiple products and simplifying the installation process.

Integrated Motor and Gearbox

The Breezway Altair Powerlouvre™ Window incorporates a motor and gearbox concealed within the Easyscreen™ Window Frame, resulting in an automated louvre window with no visible motors, rods or arms.

• Suits 152mm or 102mm blades

• Mullion strips to enable multiple bays to be constructed

• Optional integrated D-bar security. U-channel and round bar can be fitted after installation

• Weatherstrip to provide proper sealing of the top and bottom blades

• Galleries can be supplied with screw holes where fixing to timber jambs, or without where mullion strips are required

You may choose from a wide range of standard colours. Other colours are available at an additional charge.
Colour matched handles and clips (to suit standard finishes only) are available at an additional charge.

Various blade styles are available:

14mm rebated Western Red Cedar ( WRC ) or Kwila blade to suit the 6mm clip
Blades are supplied raw and need to be treated prior to installation

• Standard handle position is on the left hand side, viewed from inside. Right hand handles are available.

• Variable handle position may be requested.

• If limited opening is required, a 100mm restriction can be installed.

• If the louvre is in an out-of-reach position, an extended control (map rod with A13 handle) or remote control (manual or electronic) can be installed.

• For louvres with dual operating mechanisms a handle locking bar can be supplied

Keylocks are standard with all Surround Frames ( please specify if not required ). Keylocks are NOT standard with componant system ( please specify if required ). Keylocks are only available in Black.

Security and insect screens can be fitted in the channel of the 131mm Easyscreen™ Frame so as not to interfere with the operation of the blades.
